Madawaska, just minutes from Algonquin Park, is a snowy wonderland for winter lovers!
From the beginning of November to the end March, Madawaska is filled with winter activities! With many snow covered trails, small cliffs for ice climbing and frozen bodies of water for ice fishing this South Algonquin town is short of nothing when it comes to having fun!
With the Algonquin Trail right behind our site, snowmobiles have straight access to come and go as they please. This trail is also perfect for snowshoeing and site seeing. In addition to the trail, there is an ice rink open to the public during this time so don’t forget your ice skates!
